Is this a gif or a sequence of images shown through code? I use Sonic-Py for my music by the way, but I'm looking to branch out. Do you have any suggestions?
It's in Decker. I'm swapping the images out (and hiding/showing the floating spaceship) with code that's driven by the JankyTunes widget reaching certain points in the song, so that it is in sync. You can unlock the deck with the little lock icon and look at the code for yourself. The magic is mostly in the event handlers attached to the JankyTunes contraption.
As the creator of JankyTunes and Janky Sequencer and whatnot I am comfortable admitting that it's a weird clunky thing that has a fair few limitations and I'm never really sure how much a normal person would understand it. But if you want to make music in Decker and don't feel like writing/recording it elsewhere and stringing together a bunch of clips, it is a thing you can use. I don't have much knowledge of normal music creation tools so I'm not much help there, sorry.
